Distilled in 1973 at the renowned Glenfarclas Distillery in Speyside and bottled by the independent bottler William Cadenhead in December 2015, this exceptional 42-year-old Single Malt Scotch Whisky comes from a single Bourbon barrel and was released in only 168 bottles worldwide. Despite its long maturation, it was bottled at 40.2% ABV, preserving its natural character without chill filtration or added colouring. The whisky offers elegant aromas of honey, vanilla, ripe orchard fruits, citrus, polished oak and delicate floral notes. On the palate it is silky, refined and beautifully balanced, revealing layers of dried fruits, gentle spices, creamy vanilla, soft oak and a touch of waxiness, leading to a long, complex and elegant finish.
