The 150mm sonnar synchro is the same lens Formular and aperture as the standard 150mm lens, but with the added benefit of having a synchro compur lens built into the body.
The addition of this leaf shutter allows you to sync your flash at all the speeds offered by the lens (1/500s). This is a great benefit considering the sl66's biggest weakness is it's slow flash sync.
The lens is in absolutely stunning condition. Glass elements are all clean and clear. There is no oil on the aperture blades, and the shutter fires accurately at all speeds.
The lens comes with both front and rear lens caps.
