Exceptional Japanese Optical Heritage: Yashica YE 35mm Rangefinder Set with Yashinon 50mm f/2.8 & Original Case An outstanding historical collectible for lovers of timeless craftsmanship, mechanical authenticity, and Japanese design. Featured here is the celebrated Yashica YE 35mm rangefinder camera, complete with the renowned Yashinon 50mm f/2.8 prime lens and leather case. This particular ensemble is exceptionally hard to encounter even in Japan today, representing a genuinely rare find for European connoisseurs of classic rangefinders. Every tactile element of this camera tells a story of dedicated engineering. The deliberate rotation of the winding knob, the soft mechanical release of the cloth focal-plane shutter, and the tactile balance in your hands offer an authentic photographic journey that modern digital gear simply cannot replicate. Displaying or handling this piece brings the refined romance of vintage optics straight into your personal collection. Mechanical components perform smoothly, with shutter speeds corresponding appropriately (machinery accuracy not measured). The optical system shows minor age-related hazing and micro-dust, while retaining clear rangefinder dual-image focus alignment. Authentic vintage patina across the body and curtain testifies to its genuine historic provenance. * Release Date: 1959 * Manufacturer: Yashica * Product Name: Yashica YE with Yashinon 50mm f/2.8 * Type: 35mm focal-plane shutter rangefinder camera * Lens Mount: Leica L-mount (L39 screw mount) * Shutter: Mechanical horizontal-travel cloth focal-plane shutter * Shutterspeed: B, 1/25 to 1/500 sec * Film Advance: Knob wind system (Bottom-loading) * Operation: Fully functional.
