Giappone. - 5 Banknotes Set of 5 Antique Japanese Clan Notes - Edo Period Hansatsu Currency Paper Money Iyo Ozu 1731-1746 (Senza prezzo di riserva)
Offered is a collection of five historical Japanese clan notes (Hansatsu) from the Iyo Ozu domain, dating back to the mid-Edo period (Kyoho 16 / 1731, and Enkyo 3 / 1746).
These notes feature traditional Japanese washi paper, beautifully detailed woodblock-printed designs, and official red seals. A notable highlight of this set is the highly intricate artwork, which includes depictions of horses, traditional Japanese deities (such as the Gods of Wealth, Daikokuten and Ebisu), and classic motifs. They represent silver currency denominations (Silver Monme and Silver Bu) used during that era, making them fascinating examples of historical local commerce.
