MINOLTA α7700i + AF Zoom 35-105mm f/3.5-4.5, tested and working. Hello from Japan! We provide high-quality cameras and lenses to the world. The Minolta Alpha 7700i of 1988, sold as the Dynax 7000i in Europe and the Maxxum 7000i in America, was the camera that took Minolta's autofocus revolution to its second generation. Minolta had stunned the industry in 1985 with the Alpha 7000, the first SLR with autofocus fully built into the body, and the 7700i answered its rivals with predictive focus tracking, a wide-area sensor and Minolta's Creative Expansion Card slot for adding specialised functions. It handles beautifully for a camera of its era and takes the whole A-mount lens range, later carried on by Sony. Here it comes with the AF Zoom 35-105mm f/3.5-4.5, a genuinely useful walk-around range covering wide-angle to short telephoto.
