A highly desirable 1979 Japanese pressing of Electric Ladyland by The Jimi Hendrix Experience on Polydor (MPU-9705/6), housed in the iconic nude gatefold sleeve and complete with original obi and insert. This particular pressing is exceptionally difficult to locate in this condition with all original components intact. The thick cardboard construction of the gatefold is substantial and well-preserved, while the presence of the original obi—a key identifier of Japanese pressings and often the first element to become separated or damaged—makes this a notably complete example for the collector market. ⸻ Sleeve (VG+): The gatefold presents a tidy, well-maintained appearance with the expected light signs of age commensurate with a copy from 1979 that has been carefully handled. The cover is clean and attractive overall, grading VG+. Obi: Original obi present with some minor writing on the inside, otherwise tidy and in VG+ condition. Insert: Original insert included. Vinyl (NM): Both discs are in exceptional condition, graded WOW Top by the cataloguer—effectively indicating an unplayed or near-unplayed copy. The vinyl is pristine throughout, grading NM. ⸻ Details * Japan 1979 pressing * Polydor MPU-9705/6 * Iconic nude gatefold sleeve * Original obi included * Original insert included * Double LP * Complete with all original components
