The first edition is from 1953. This is a later edition printed using the original woodblocks.
The measurements of the image itself are 24 x 36 cm.
Original woodblock print by Asasno Takeji (1900-1998) Shinhanga artist Asano Takeji was born in 1900 in Kyoto where he studied arts and crafts at the Kyoto School of painting with Tomikichiro Tokuriki. He became an active member of the sosaku hanga group in Kyoto. His favorite subjects were landscapes.
The woodblock print is in excellent condition and has never been framed before.
Will be shipped with great care in sturdy packaging to prevent folding.
