Raymond Bedaux (1968) is self-taught and mainly makes paintings and mixed-media objects.
Bedaux won an art competition for children at an early age but studied biology at the Utrecht University, was in the commandos, worked for a trading firm in Taiwan and travelled a lot through Asia and Africa. But in the early 21st century he decided to establish himself as a full-time artist.
Raymond Bedaux calls himself a "self-chosen maverick", which leads to an entirely own and refreshing approach of both subject and material.
The work comes from a company collection with beautiful works of art.
