In a world where time and tranquility is a rarity, I let my photographic images merge unrest and dynamics to a unit, reducing them to a pace that humans can grasp.
I do this by using long exposure times. Movement quiets and is captured as a moment in time. Another world and another image that only exists in a world where time can be manipulated. The emptiness, silence and timeless harmony on the coast, captured in an image.
In that void I captured man-made elements or objects. The elements or objects in that void, are not created from an architectural vision but from the function they have to perform and thus get a uniqueness and beauty that is not boring but fascinating.
Michael Kenna and Josef Hoflehner are a constant source of inspiration.
