Litografia - Firmato a mano - 2/33

Beautiful large screen print by Fons Haagmans in a small edition, 30 pieces. The work is framed and ready to hang.

In the summer of 2013 Museum Boijmans of Beuningen showed three paintings by Fons Haagmans (1948). In 2012, the VBVR Haagmans depot, derived from art & project gallery (1968-2001), donated several works, including the work Branche Folie (1997) which was on display. Through the use of patterns, he puts his subjects on the canvas.

In the 1980s, when two of the three works were created, Haagmans adopted a minimalist and at the same time a decorative approach. In the work of Haagmans are mostly forgotten abstract symbols that can be recognized.

This is the first Early Collectors auction by Art Dumay. It is a mix of world famous artists and the talents yet to be discovered. This auction gives new collectors the chance to get acquainted with prints and limited editions. With works by Marc Chagall & Marlene Dumas, but also by Dutch artists such as Jan Worst and Bob van Blommestein.
