This Coco de Mer is only found on the Seychelles and until 1994 it was only allowed to be carried out under strict conditions and with a compulsory export evidence.
There has been a ban on the export of this beautiful Cocos since 1994 making them increasingly rarer and more precious.
The sea coconut is the largest seed and one of the most sought-after natural artefacts. These coconuts grow on the island of Praslin and Curieuse in the Seychelles and have a very suggestive shape.
The ripe fruit is heavy (15 kg to 25 kg), so it cannot float on the water, it sinks instead until the meat in the fruit disintegrates and then it comes back up thanks to the gases in it. That's why we thought for a long time that this was the fruit of an unknown marine tree, hence the name "sea coconut".
Item will be carefully packaged and shipped via insured mail with Track and Trace.
