Due to lack of space, fate has determined that the accompanying clock from my "bakelite clock collection" is on offer.
It is a mantel clock in perfect condition from the famous English house Enfield.
This company was founded in 1932 and it fused to Smiths Enfield relatively quickly. Famous for their timepieces, however, they continued to use the name Enfield until mid-Second World War.
The clock is already nearly a century old, but we can still call it perfect, both the body and the movement. So no chips, dents or other flaws.
The gong can be heard every whole and a half hour but it is easy to switch off if desired.
Both the doors also close well, and naturally the pendulum and winding key are also present.
There is an 8-day movement and the clock has been running exemplary here in the house for quite some time.
As with any pendulum driven clock, it needs to be placed accurately.
If desired, help with mail is available.
The many photos are part of the description and it will be shipped with great care.
