This poster for Pan Am shows Moscow's Red Square with Saint Basil's Cathedral and the Spasskaya Tower. The square was originally the city's main marketplace and site of public ceremonies.
Pan American Airlines, known as Pan Am, was established in 1927 and flew until 1991.
The company was credited for many innovations and was the flagship carrier of the United States. Identified by its blue globe logo and the word 'clipper' in its aircraft names, the airline was a cultural icon of the twentieth century.
This poster is in lovely condition and has been linen backed. Please see images for condition details - there was a small tear to the right edge.
The poster measures 106 x 71cm with a 2.5cm linen border.
