Here we have 4 branches of very rare purple lace coral of the South Pacific Ocean, at the frontier with the Indian Ocean, in French Polynesia, represented in a customised frame.
Comes from an old private collection
The branches measure between 50mm and 75mm for the largest. This is an adult size for this very rare species with purple colours.
The scientific name is Distichopora Violacea. Finely presented in a nice customised frame. It dates back to the 1940-50s.
The frame is wood and can be suspended, a glass window protects the coral. Length: 28 cm Width: 25 cm Height; 6 cm It weighs 816 g.
The colour of the coral branches is purple. All four of them are in one piece, no broken branches. In perfect condition as new.
The object will be carefully protected and packed for safe shipment via Colissimo with tracking and delivered against signature.
