In 1957, Heuer introduced a completely new type of stopwatch, in which the manufacturer added colourful, replaceable rings to match the time to different events. Each ring is a different colour and has a different scale. For example, an orange scale stood for rounds and timeouts during a boxing match, a yellow scale stood for counting down the time for games and yacht races, and a green scale showed decimal parts of a minute for rally time.
I am auctioning the automatic, wound Swiss HEUER stopwatch. The signed movement works on 7 jewels. Complete with a case, stopwatch and additional six dials. I rate the condition of the stopwatch good plus, two scratches on the varnish at the back. The stopwatch is fully functional.
