Crusader Silver Ring with an Image of Lily with a lovely Decoration around the Bezel
The Lily is symbol of purity and even before the middle ages connected to the devotion of the Virgin Mary.
The Lily was also symbol of the rebirth and the symbol of the Florentine Crusaders during the First Crusade (1096-1099) (Even today to the city of Florence).
Interestingly patinated- some parts nicely covered with nice old cabinet tone, very well preserved and still Wearable. See Photo
Size: inner diameter- 2cm., high: 2,2cm.
Purchased by the current owner in 2014 in Austria, Wien.
Collected Since: 1970's.
