Ancient Roman Silver Exclusive Ornamented Figurine of a Legionary Eagle Symbol of the Imperial Military Supremacy. The most emblematic image for the whole ancient roman military history and Symbol of the Imperial Might, Strenght and Dominance. In very good grade of preservation with ornamented body engraved with feathers and nice old cabinet tone.
Very Rare, presumably from an inventory of a legionnaire and much rarer in silver.
Size: 2,3cm.
Purchased by the current owner in 2015 in Austria, Wien.
Collected Since: 1990's.
Previous owners history: Old Austrian Private Collection.
