Andrés Gómez - Scultura - Contemporaneo - resina con ossidi di ferro
These statues are solidly cast and weigh 2.700 kg and 0.700 kg respectively. They are 33 cm and 21 cm long.
François Pompon (1855-1933) was one of the most wanted assistants in Paris for many years, chopping marble blocks for Auguste Rodin and Camille Claudel. But after 1905, Pompon no longer made human figurines and focused on animals. 'Ours Blanc' was exhibited at the Salon d'Automne in 1922. The statue is now in the Musée d'Orsay. See the last photo.
The sculptures are indeed white and not grey, as the photo might suggest. Insured shipping with a track & trace code.
