Exceptional and rare Ensi Rug by the Ersari tribes of south Turkestan. Circa 1880. All wool with fantastic natural colors. Overall in good condition. Few traces of moth damaging and a small defect in the lower left corner. Minimal wear at the Shirazi. Cleaning is in my view not a must, but surely not a disadvantage. Photos have been taken in natural light, therefore the colors may vary, much more vibrant in person. Attached to the photos is a almost indentical piece that has been auctioned in 2015 at Dorotheum. Stunning collectors piece.
