
Yoroi, Armatura Gusoku - ferro - Giappone - Periodo Edo (1600-1868)
Extremely Rare and Creative Round Bamboo Suzuribako made during Azuchi-Momoyama period-Early Edo period. The top side of this copper water dropper was engraved with vivid bamboo and bird patterns, shows excellent carving skill. In order to make the suzuribako can stand on the desk stably, the artisan cut the bottom flat and painted black lacquer very finely, every design was focused with detail and shows the craftsman spirit.
Sold with original wooden tomobako.
One high quality inkstone and copper water dropper(水滴) were included in this lot.
