The B-set is a 7-piece service, designed in 1997 by Hella Jongerius. By baking the clay at too high a temperature, each element deforms slightly. The imperfect dinnerware is one of the first designs in which individuality is created within serial production, an important theme in the work of Jongerius.

4 large beakers, Ø 7 x 11 cm
4 small plates, Ø 20 x 2 cm
4 large plates, Ø 25 x 2 cm
2 small bowls, Ø 13 x 9 cm
1 large bowls, Ø 20 x 12 cm
1 carafe/ vase, Ø 12 x 25 cm.
Today the B-set 405W #451 is seen as an icon in Dutch design history and is adopted in a large number of international museums like the Stedelijk Museum 's-Hertogenbosch, Centraal Museum Utrecht, Zuiderzee Museum Enkhuizen.
Clarification of the marks in the objects: 405W = recipe of the porcelain; 451 = recipe of the glaze; HJ = Hella Jongerius.
