Toshinobu Taguchi is not a very famous ukiyo-e artist. I don't know why, but it may be because he died at the young age of 38. However, his drawing ability was as good as that of his master, Toshinobu Yamazaki, and his master's master, Yoshitoshi Tsukioka. His drawing period was from 1883 (Meiji 16) to his death, and in 1890 he went to Osaka to draw illustrations for newspapers and frontispieces for storytelling books. He is 38 years old.

Toshinobu Taguchi is not a very famous ukiyo-e artist.
