Up for grabs is a super rare vintage digital camera classic: LOGITECH FOTOMAN FM-1 The european equivalent to the Dycam Model 1 and the first consumer digital camera in the world! A milestone in the history of digital imaging. While the Dycam Model 1 was sold in the US, Dycam and Logitech teamed up and re-branded the Dycam Model 1 and turned it into the Logitech FotoMan FM-1 for the european market. You can read all about it here: https://www.digitalkameramuseum.de/en/history (at section 1991) This wonderful and beautiful Logitech FotoMan comes to you in a very good cosmetic condition with only a few blemishes, it's hardly nothing. It's overall good and clean on the outside. Inside the old faulty rechargeable batteries have been removed and the camera has been cleaned as good as possible. No new batteries have been installed as I cannot ship batteries outside of the EU. The camera was briefly tested by attaching a power supply and I was greeted by the ominous beeping sounds the camera usually makes, when one presses the shutter button. Further tests have not been conducted. The camera will be delivered to you in it's entirety which includes: - the Logitech Fotoman FM-1 body - the complete Logitech FotoMan stand (mostly missing in other auctions) - the Logitech docking station - a 37mm thread adaptor - a 37mm UV filter NOTHING ELSE. You will need a 12v power supply and two AA rechargeable batteries to make it work again. I strongly suggest you read up on this special vintage piece of history before you buy it.
