A Neoclassical gilt bronze mounted white marble mantle clock set. France, early 20th century The work marked 'H. Luppens - Paris', the dial marked 'H. Luppens & Cie - Bruxelles' Height clock = 37 cm Height candesticks = 27 cm Combined weight = 7410 g A corner of the marble at the back of the clock has been broken off and re-glued (photo 9). The enamel of the dial has minor damage around one of the winding holes (photo 3). The bottom bronze ring of one of the candlesticks is loose on the base (photos 24 & 25). One of the candlesticks has a chip in the marble base at the bottom (second to last photo). This clock works perfectly, but the hands do not match the strokes. The hands will have to be aligned with what the mechanism sounds. Comes with winding key. Good condition. Normal traces of age and use. For a good impression, please watch all photos carefully.
