A charming tall six-panel byôbu 屏風 (folding screen) finished in oxidised silver leaf 銀箔 (ginpaku).
Over time, the silver leaf has developed a soft, natural patina, lending the surface a subtle depth and refined aged character. The panels are framed in a vibrant crimson lacquered wooden frame
In Japan, such tranquil and even screens are often used as a backdrop for ikebana flower arrangements or to accompany other decorative or ceremonial objects.

In a very good restored condition with minor signs of age-related wear on both sides, including small silver-leaf losses along the edges and a paper restoration to the reverse. Please refer to the photos for a clear condition reference.
