A fine Georg Jensen cigar box executed in copper with classic Skønvirke (Art Nouveau ) ornamentations to the sides and lid. Standing on a tapering brass base. Designed in 1916 by Johan Rohde exclusively for the DFDS steamship company to commemorate their 50th anniversary as a gift for the employees. This box is 1 of only 1000 made.. A single example in gold was made for King Christian X

Condition - In a good condition with marks and blemishes commensurate with age
Some indentations, primarily to the lid.
A piece of the left side of inscribed plaquette missing
