Rare Yamaha No. 100 Classical Guitar - Nippon Gakki - Made in Japan circa 1966.

Check the video I recorded playing the guitar: https://youtu.be/OdeD74wZTDo

This guitar sounds lovely and is comfortable to play. It is great for Folk music but also for Classical music, played with fingers or with a pick. I put on medium tension nylon strings. This model is very hard to find, especially in good condition: it was one of the top models in Yamaha's classical guitar line in the '60s. Magical sound and plenty of mojo here. It has scratches and blemishes, but overall it's in nice condition. Yamaha guitars from the '60s are the best kept secret out there. String height at the 12th fret is around 5mm and there's plenty of room to lower it at the saddle (depending on the player's preference). Personally, I like how full it sounds and I find it comfortable to play.

Check the photos and the videos carefully, they are the best way to understand the guitar's condition and sound. This guitar is not perfect, it is around 60 years old! So adjust your expectations accordingly. It will not feel like a brand new instrument fresh out of the factory (which is why I love it). I’d suggest it to people who have some experience with vintage guitars and are willing to make adjustments down the line, or who can embrace the imperfections in exchange for a special sound and vibe.
