They carefully select exceptional single casks and bottle them under the name The Ultimate, offering outstanding quality whiskies at often better prices than competing brands. To celebrate their 25th anniversary — and the milestone of their 1000th bottling — Van Wees created a special limited series consisting of 8 unique casks. From the 825th to the 1000th bottling, every 25th bottle was released in a wooden presentation box, with each box forming one letter of the word ULTIMATE when displayed together. Only 204 complete sets were produced. While some bottles may exist individually in slightly larger numbers, no cask was bottled in large quantities — each is a true single cask release. As a full set, this collection is exceptionally rare and highly sought-after. This set has just been taken out of its protective plastic for photographs.
