"Iromiyabi" (Traditional Lacquer Art - Sai-ga) series-“Awakou” (light fragrance) - Penna stilografica

Item Description: This is a finely crafted fountain pen from Sailor's esteemed "Iromiyabi" (Traditional Lacquer Art - Sai-ga) series, presented in the exquisite “Awakou” (light fragrance) color. The pen body is made from durable ebonite and finished using a traditional Japanese urushi (lacquer) technique known as Ishime-nuri, where layers of colored lacquer are repeatedly applied and polished to achieve a stone-like textured surface. This heritage is gracefully embodied in the pen's aesthetic and name. The pen is fitted with Sailor’s oversized 21K gold nib (Medium), offering exceptional flexibility and a luxurious writing experience. It supports both cartridge and converter filling systems. A refined and weighty instrument, this piece showcases Japanese craftsmanship and historical artistry in one. It comes in a specially designed Paulownia wood box, tied with traditional Sanada-himo cord, and includes two black ink cartridges, a converter, and a cleaning cloth. A rare collector's item that merges writing functionality with cultural elegance.
