A rare jasper bead seal talisman with inscripton from the ancient Western Asiatic culture .
First Millennium AD or in the style of replica
In good condition. It has been cleaned by hand and repolished, but the nice antique patina is preserved. Original, ancient, hand cutting, carving and grinding. The holes are ancient,hand-made,irregular. Traces of use and age on its surface.
Purchased mid 90's in Strasbourg by Dr. Zelnik on the local art market .
