Artist: Tamura Yukio田村幸夫(b.1933) He is a ceramic artist from Shippo-cho, Aichi Prefecture. Born in 1933, he studied under Tatsukichi Fujii藤井達吉. In 1960, his work was selected for the Indeventan Exhibition, sponsored by the Chunichi Shimbun. Upon taking over the business, his work was purchased by Aichi Prefecture and presented to the Shah of Iran, and subsequently by the Imperial Household Agency. His works have been selected for various art exhibitions and traditional crafts exhibitions, and many of them remain. His style often integrates the tradition of cloisonné into modern life.
