This timepiece was converted from a vintage Huguenin Quarter Repater and Chronograph pocket watch, originaly produced around the 1900's. It is made - beside the new custom made stainless steel case - only from one original Huguenin pocket watch, so the movement and dial are all from the same watch and both are genuine. The movement has been taken completely apart, cleanded and serviced. It is running very well, and is keeping great time, i have the picture documentation of the work and it has been done by a watchmaker with good reputation. Size: It has a diameter of 51 mm without the crown. The weight is 152 g. The height is only 16 mm. Case: New custom made stainless steel case with domed crystal on top, and see through caseback with flat crystal on bottom. Dial: Original Huguenin dial. The dial looks the same nice and clean as on the pictures. The dial is clean white and in good condition. Please take a look on the detailed pictures. It has black roman numerals and an indicator counting. Movement: Original Huguenin movement with quarter repater and chronograph functions. It has been taken apart and fully cleaned and serviced. Hands: blue hands with golden chronograph hand. Functions of the watch: By pulling down the button near 2 the repeater function gets activated. I did not check all the time settings, but i can say, the repeater mechanism works well, and hits the hour/quarter/ wright, and the sound is ok. I have added a link to hear the repeater work. By pushing the pin-button over 12, the chronograph gets activated, you can start-stop-reset it by pushing the button more times. It works and jumps back to 0 as it should. Please remember, these complicated watches better turn the time to the front and not backwards, when you set the time, even if it takes longer time to do so. Very beautiful and unique watch. Strap: New leather strap, total length with the watch in the middle: 26,5 cm. It is recommended to change the strap according to your own design and needs. The watch will be packed very carefully.
