Girard-Perregaux - "Classic Vintage" - 18 Carat Solid Yellow Gold - Ref. No: 4799.51 - Uomo - 2000-2010

Welcome to my Top Swiss Wrist Watches Boutique: Girard-Perregaux SA is a luxury Swiss watch manufacture with its origins dating back to 1791: more than two centuries of craftsmanship and perpetual commitment to perfection. In 1791, watchmaker and goldsmith Jean-François Bautte signed his first watches. He created a manufacturing company in Geneva, grouping for the first time ever all the watchmaking facets of that time. This included the engineering of the watch all the way to the final hand-assembly and hand-polishing of each piece. In 1832, Jacques Bautte and Jean-Samuel Rossel succeeded Jean Bautte, becoming the head of the company. In 1852, the watchmaker Constant Girard founded Girard & Cie in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. He then married Marie Perregaux in 1854, and the Girard-Perregaux Manufacture was founded in 1856. In 1906, Constant Girard-Gallet, who took over control of the Manufacture from his father, acquired the Bautte House and merged it with Girard-Perregaux & Cie. Since 1999, the Villa Marguerite, building in La Chaux-de-Fonds from the beginning of the 20th century, has housed the Girard-Perregaux-Museum: selection of old watches, illustrating glorious history of famous brand. Movement: - in-house self-winding GP 220 caliber - 21 jewels - power-reserve: at least 36 hours - frequency: 28.800 vph, 4 Hz - unique movement number: 11052 Case: - 18 carat yellow gold - 34mm excl. crown, 36,5mm incl. - 7mm thick only! - length: 39,7mm lug to lug - unique watch number: OG No. 699, best confirmation of authenticity Bezel: - 18 carat yellow gold - polished - fixed - multilayer Scratch-resistant flat crystal Solid 18 K yellow gold case-back with engraving Crown: - 18 carat yellow gold - polished - push/pull Dial: - silver color, partly guilloche - blued hands in Breguet style - date aperture at 03:00 o'clock - minute markers along the outer circle - Girard-Perregaux logo at 12:00 o'clock Strap: - brand new brown leather, alligator grain on cow - length: 20,5cm, incl. the wrist watch itself - width: 21mm by lugs, 18mm by clasp Clasp: - neutral - double folding "butterfly" - yellow gold plated Weight: 52 grams High recognition level.
