Roman Republic - Lot comprising four (4) silver coins (3 denarius and 1 quinarius). Fine to good fine conditions, all them perfectly classificable coins.
1.- M. Cipius M.f. - Silver denarius (3,52 g. 16 mm.) Minted in Rome between 115-114 B.C.
Helmeted head of Roma right. M.CIPI.M.F. - X behind.
Victory driving galloping biga right; rudder below.
Crawford 289/1.
Choice fine, nice silver toning.
2.- L. Rubrius Dossenus. Silver quinarius (1.48 g. 14 mm.) - Minted at Rome, 87 BC.
DOS SEN. Laureate head of Neptune right, with trident over shoulder./
L RVBRI. Victory standing right, holding wreath and palm frond; to right, garlanded altar with serpent coiled around top.
Crawford 348/4.
Choice fine. Nice toning.
3.- C. Claudius Pulcher - Silver denarius (3,31 g. 19 mm.) minted in Rome between 110 - 109 B.C.
