Beautiful and historically important set of three original Lithuanian banknotes from the First Republic period (before WWII).
These are genuine notes issued by the Bank of Lithuania (Lietuvos Bankas) in Kaunas, between 1927 and 1930.
They represent the earliest and most collectible stage of Lithuania’s national currency.
Included in this lot:
10 Litų – 1927 – Green, with the Vytis coat of arms in the center.
20 Litų – 1930 – Brown/green, featuring Grand Duke Vytautas the Great and the Kaunas Cathedral.
100 Litų – 1928– Black and grey, allegorical seated woman with shield and wheel.
Condition:
All three notes in circulated condition.
No repairs, no reproductions. Original paper, authentic signatures and serial numbers.
