A very fine Danish empire silver sugar or salt caster of egg shaped, fluted form Tentative date late 18th to early 19th century Hallmarked to the top of the base with what appears to be the makers mark Frederik Janus Creutzberg (1754-1811) and a later 830 silver mark Reference: Danske sølvmønter pre 1870 See the last image Standing 10 cm tall and weighing 51.7g The foot appears to be filled Condition -The lid with a thin crack not visible to the exterior as it’s located right in one of the fluted lines.
