Great wine from Burgundy star Bastian Wolber,
Bottles in perfect condition, ready to drink
Bastian Wolber's winemaking philosophy is based on minimal intervention, allowing the terroir to express itself fully. The reds, often vinified as whole grapes, undergo carbonic or semi-carbonic maceration in steel or wooden vats, with gentle extraction achieved by delicate wetting of the cap or light trapping. Foot-pressed whites are pressed in a vertical press, followed by overnight settling before spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged in used barrels, conferring complexity and finesse without masking the fruit.
Stored in an underground cellar,
