Hi, thank you for your interest. I am offering for sale Montblanc’s flagship chronograph, the Nicolas Rieussec Star Legacy. The watch’s movement is an in-house designed R200 that Montblanc produces in Villeret, Switzerland. The Rieussec movement has been designed and manufactured in the Minerva workshops and has been highly appreciated for its accuracy and complexity since its introduction in 2006. The watch features an automatic integrated chronograph movement with column wheel and vertical clutch. It is equipped with a twin-barrel power reserve of 72 hours, a day/night indicator, a date window, a second time zone hand, and two dials — a 60-second and a 30-minute counter — that are activated and reset by a single pusher. The Rieussec has come in several finishes over the years. This timepiece features a stainless steel case and a large, elegantly finished sapphire dome. In my opinion, the blue stainless steel indicators and the exquisite guilloche pattern of the dial make this model a gorgeous timepiece. The pictures do not do the watch justice: the finish of this timepiece really stands out when light hits the intricate dial, giving the sensation of different layers of depth. Now, let me give you some details about the history of this particular timepiece. The watch was a gift. It was given to me after I received an important promotion. This was back in 2023. Since then, I have worn the watch very little, mainly at the office. Frankly, I find the watch a little too big for my wrist, as I prefer slimmer models. To be fair, it is Montblanc/Minerva’s flagship model and features many complications that make the larger size a welcome addition, enhancing the entire package. It is a beautiful and impressive watch, but I prefer somewhat smaller pieces.  The watch has been sent to Montblanc’s workshop in Hamburg for a complete service. As you can see from the warranty slip and service certificate, it has been checked, cleaned, and certified for accuracy. It is as good as new. Furthermore, the watch comes with a one-year warranty. I really hope the watch will find a nice home and a custodian who will hand it over to the next generation of mechanical watch enthusiasts.
