スペインを拠点とする現代アーティスト、ヤナ・メドウによるこの表現力豊かな油彩キャンバス作品は、 reflection、 identity、女性の心理を探る力強いダブルポートレートを呈しています。
左右にほぼ同一の女性像が並び、上品な黒装いに真珠のネックレスを飾り、穏やかな仕草と鏡像の表情が、 presence と reflection の間に静かな対話を生み出しています。
メドウの独特の作風は、現代の具象絵画とスタイライズド・ポートレートを結びつけ、流動的な線、柔らかなトーンの移ろい、emotion と movement を際立たせる赤の劇的なアクセントが特徴です。

BIO

Yana Medow is a contemporary artist from St. Petersburg, currently based in Alicante.
She graduated from the Stieglitz Art Academy in Saint Petersburg, specializing in Painting Restoration.
Her professional background includes work as a restorer, graphic designer, and illustrator.
Since 2020, she has established herself as a full-time artist, focusing on her independent creative practice.
