Marco Corridoni's FIXED Fontana - no. 12 /100 is an original, hand-signed mixed-media work (40 × 30 cm) from Italy, dated 2025, sold directly from the artist and in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
FIXED Fontana - No. 12 /100 (2026)
イドロ-ペインティング on canvas, leather, metal
30×40cm
UNIQUE and ORIGINAL WORK
Special edition of the series "Fixed Fontana" with a palette of colors unseen in the artist's production.
This is the twelfth work of the last 100 that will be produced by the artist.
The artist draws on Lucio Fontana's spatial concepts to rewrite the history of art, by manipulating his artistic vocabulary, suspended between quotation and desecration.
The cuts are sewn back together, symbolically, to shorten space rather than "open" it.
Expectations are subverted, almost as a protest against a way of making and selling art that has little or nothing to do with originality and the essence of art itself.
The canvases are prepared in Fontana's manner and the cuts, strictly made by hand by the artist, mimic those of the most famous works.
Each cut is fixed with a black canvas on the back, just as documented by Lucio Fontana: this gives stability to the work and a sublime aesthetic effect.
Work signed on the back
Photographic certificate included
