A pair of vintage white glazed ceramic bookends in the shape of hands, dating to the 1970s–1980s, made in the Netherlands, in good condition with minor signs of wear, each measuring 16.5 × 10 × 9.5 cm and weighing about 480 g, with a stopper at the base to fill with sand for weighting.
