This was also known as the hidden weapon.
Initially, it was used by Japanese firemen as a type of small axe.
But it was also used in battle; this tobikuchi also functioned as a weapon.
A formidable weapon in the hands of a samurai.
Besides being easy to handle, its light weight also makes it a sword breaker.
It could be used to stop a sword, and was therefore a good defensive tool.

Made of wood and iron.
In good used condition and marked with a signature, which is rare for this type of weapon.
A beautiful addition to your collection.
Length 47 cm, width 6 cm.
Rarely found in this condition.
