Powerful old sword by a famous smith.

A beautiful sword with the signature of one of the most famous Japanese smiths; Nagamitsu.
A sword forged according to the ancient tradition of the Bizen province.
A beautiful obvious hamon Suguha.
A magnificent blade with Bo-Hi.
Even the details like tsuba, tsuka are phenomenally beautiful, as is the old koshirae.
These date from 1850/1870 and are in good condition.
Obviously, the sword has been used by a true Samurai and this has left its signs of wear.
As it should.
A must for every afficionado of the Japanese Bushido.
Length blade (nagasa) is 62.8 cm.
Total in kosherae approximately 92 cm.
