French infantry officer's sword model 1882
In good condition with signs of use

This sword was used by French soldiers during WWI. It is the successor of the model 1845/55. The sword has a nickel plated sheath and a handle in horn with braided metal wire.

The blade is in good condition with only superficial traces of wear. The grip has some small notches and loose wires. The sheath has some traces of rust. There is a very small play on the guard.

Length 99,5 cm with sheath, 98 cm without sheath.

The sword is carefully packaged for shipping via track & trace. It can also be collected in Ghent.
