Good condition, old family blade, signed.

Authentic Japanese WW 2 Army pilot or tank crew's sword in mountings. This kind of short wakizashi was carried by army pilot or tank crews to fit in small cockpit. The blade was forged in Edo period by Masahiro (4th gen) from Hizen province (Hizen Tadayoshi school), Toko Taikan ¥ 3 m, Fujishiro: "Jo saku" and signed "Kawachi no kami Fujiwara Masahiro" (https://nihontoclub.com/smiths/MAS176). The blade has old full polish and shows minor fine scratches and stains, but no rust, no nick, no bend and cutting edge is sharp. Beautiful "gunome-choji" hamon with deep temper at the point, "mokume hada". "Motogasane": 5 mm, "motohaba": 2.8 cm, length "nagasa": 46.5 cm, length in koshirae: 82 cm. The koshirae has minor wear, original officer’s tassel. Will be sent insured (Switzerland, Russia and China excluded).
