This is a rare Tudor scent bottle with enamel decorations, from the 16th century. They were found in Tudor England (King Henry VIII), and they were worn to the clothing. These bottles were often Royal gifts and also in possession of the high nobility. Coming from an 18th/19th century collection in England. As usual in the 16th century, this item is not yet standard noticed/tested, but seems to have a kind of makers mark on the bottom. With a COA by the British Antique dealer (jewellery). The bottle is in good condition with only sporadically missing enamel and gilding. Also the stopper is missing. Overall in very good condition considering its age. Insured shipping.
