Félix Bonfils (Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, March 8, 1831 - Alès, April 9, 1885) is a French photographer, one of the first ,with Emile Béchard, who documented the Middle East with a new tool: photography. His photographic workshop, which he founded in 1867 in Beirut (Lebanon) produced a very large photographic documentation about Egypt and the Middle East at the end of the 19th century at the beginning of the 20th century.
