This is a very nice print by Bonfils, showing tourists and bedouins climbing up the great py of Giza in Egypt. This photograph has been listed in the Bonfils house archives, and is famous.

Félix Bonfils (Saint-Hippolyte-du-Fort, March 8 1831- Alès, April 9 1885) was a French photographer. He founded a photographic workshop in 1867 in Beirut, Lebanon, that produced a very large photographic documentation about Egypt and the Middle East from the late 19th century to the early 20th century. These photographs were widely distributed.
