The Zangaki brothers were two Greek photographers, active c. 1870-1875 and 1880-1899. They were specialised in historical scenes and in the ancient Egypt. They occasionally worked with the French photographer established in Port-Saïd Hippolyte Arnoux.
They lived in Port Said and Cairo. Their photos are very popular among collectors for their expressive and lively side. They are very representative of the Egyptians daily life.
