Gorgeous Dutch antique pewter set, measuring jugs, from our own collection
HK initials refers to the pewter maker Henry Kamphof in Zwolle, lived from 1833-1923.

Used condition

Henry Kamphof bought his pewter-tin foundry in 1864 van de weduwe van Arend ten Klooster,
In the City Museum (Stedelijk Museum) of Kampen you will find a measuring jug of Henry Kamphof

The decimal system was introduced in the Netherlands around 1820, this series is based on this system.
The letters on the rim are gauche/hall mark letters. Each year the measurements were checked and then the owner received a verification mark a so called mark of approval.
On the edge they are clearly visible, the "approval marks annual verification (calibration)".
